'Dorridge Day' is a major event for Knowle and Dorridge Round Table, Ladies Circle and the local Dorridge community.

It is always held on the first or second Saturday in September at Dorridge Park, Dorridge, Solihull, West Midlands.

The purpose of Dorridge Day is to raise money for local groups and charities within the community requiring financial assistance. We do this by involving the whole community and providing a fun day for all.

This year the day proved to be an amazing success raising over £5,500 for charities including the Diana, Princess of Wales Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, the local Scout and Cub Pack, Children's Arthritis Research Fund and other local groups and good causes.

Once again we have received superb and generous support from local businesses both with the publication of the programme and on the day itself. In particular, many thanks must go to all those local companies who took out advertisments in our programme and our sponsors Birmingham Cable and Transco. A special mention must also go to BRMB for the local radio coverage.

In previous years the children of Dorridge Infant School have drawn some fantastic pictures for the front cover competition.
